Yesterday Abbey, Jaden and I were eating breakfast around our kitchen table.
Out of the blue Abbey says: "I wish we could get a center piece for our table."
I was surprised she knew what that was. I asked her who has a center piece. She said Max and Ruby. (her favorite tv show) Then she says : "Ruby has a pink one with polka dots. i want one with stripes."

2 days ago Abbey was out side working with Robby on our garden.
Abbey said: "This is the job for me, dad!"
Robby said: "yeah this is a lot of fun, huh?"
Abbey said: " yeah, this is the job I always needed."
Robby said : "oh yeah?"
Abbey said: " yeah, so you can give me lots of money!"

The other day I told Abbey that her and I were going to be the only 2 girls with 3 boys in the family. She looked at me with this surprised look and giggled and said all dramatic "oh gosh!"

All about Jaden

I haven't told Jaden about the new baby, because he wouldn't understand. But 2 nights ago, I decided to see what he would do if I told him I had a baby in my belly. I was sitting on the couch and Jaden was on the floor playing. I said "Jaden, mama has a baby in her belly." I pointed to my belly and said " baby in my belly." He looked curious and walked over and rubbed my belly. He looked up at me confused, then pulled up my shirt and looked. He put my shirt back down and shrugged his shoulders with his hands up and said "No." Then looked at Robby and shrugged his shoulders and said "No" and walked off to go play. It was so hilarious!

first of all let me fill you in before I tell my story. Jaden is obsessed with boobs. He always points to any ones boobs and says boobs. the other day he was drawing on some paper. He drew a shape like the letter 'C' and said "bainbow" (rainbow) He was all excited that he could draw a rainbow. Then he made a circle, and I told him "ball" (he loves balls) He continued to draw more circles because he was excited he could draw a ball. One of his circles looked more like an oval or tear drop. Jaden points with excitement in his voice he says loud "BOOB!"

Then the next day Abbey was drawing and she drew a heart. she then drew a line down the middle of the heart. she then decided to make polka dots on the heart. the first 2 happened to be at the top of the heart. Jaden walked by and looked at the picture and said "BOOB!" It did look like a boob. Abbey wasn't too happy that he thought her heart was a boob. She said "No, Jaden it's a HEART!"

Then tonight Robby and I took the kids for a walk. There was this man out for a run. he was a little on the chubby side. He had on a snug fit shirt. When he ran his man boobs giggled. Jaden noticed and pointed at the man and yelled "boobs! boobs!"

I don't know why he is so obsessed with boobs. I don't, or any of us talk about them. But he likes them.

poor Uncle Dallin

My brother Dallin went to the hospital on Sunday because of his appendix. He had to have Surgery. When Robby told Abbey about Dallin having surgery she said: "oh no! How sad!" and put her head on Robby's shoulder like she was so upset. The next day Dallin was still in the hospital and Abbey said: "poor Dallin, I feel so sad for him."
Then the next day she asked: "Is Dallin out of the hospital yet? Is he OK now?"
I told her, yes he is out now, he is doing better. Abbey says "Oh, I am so glad to hear that. Poor Dallin. Mom can you tell me all about what Happened to Dallin."
So I told her every thing, and she wanted to know it all and all the details.

Rules of Candy land

Abbey got out her candy land to play. She pulled out the paper to read the rules. This is what the rules said: "Try, Try, try and never give up. *pause* And always wash your hand so they are clean."

Today's funnies

Today I took the kids for a walk. towards the end Jaden was getting fussy. When we got back home and I was pulling the kids out of the stroller Jaden was really throwing a tantrum. (he was tired) Abbey could tell I was getting annoyed. So of course she was acting annoyed to, so she could be like me. So she tells Jaden in a scolding voice "You are really crackin my nuts, right now!" I didn't know if I heard it right. So I asked what she said , and yep, you are crackin my nuts right now! hahahaha! I don't know where she even heard that phrase. I am thinking she is getting it from me when I tell the kis you guys are 'driving me nuts' and I also tell them 'you crack me up'. So she put the two together and came up with that phrase.

Then the kids were out side in the back yard playing. Our neighbors dog was barking. Abbey told Robby: "Dad, I am going to spank that dog, because he won't stop ruffin."
(ruffin instead of barking)

While they were out playing, Abbey was trying to move her big round plastic swimming pool. It didn't have water in it, but it was hard to move and awkward. So she says to Jaden "Jaden, if we want to move this swimming pool, we are going to have to work together."

The kids had the back door open. I had a couple of mosquito things come in and flying around. I told the kids to shut the door because bugs were getting in. Abbey shuts the door, and continues playing out side. Then she decides to come in for the night. She marches into the living room with her hands on her hips and looks around the room and says in a stern kind of military voice, if you can imagine. "OK, where is that skito! I am gonna smash him!"

Names

Why is choosing a name, a boy name, so difficult? I know I have 5 months to think of a name. But I like to have an idea. I like to know the name before he comes so I can start calling him his name. Robby and I had the hardest time choosing Jaden's name. We went through so many books, websites and suggestions and it was hard. All boy names to me are just *OK* Nothing stands out to me. My favorite names are taken by family. I can think of a gazillion girl names, we actually had one picked out, if it were a girl. The only 2 names I have liked, other then Jaden, have been Brigham and Dallas. Robby doesn't like Dallas, so Brigham is my only name I like. Yesterday Robby went through a bunch of names and wrote down 20. He brought it home to me and I crossed off probably 15, and we are down to Brigham or Bridger. Robby says he likes them equally the same and can't decided. (I think he might like Bridger more.) I like both, but I like Brigham a little more. Robby has said all along and his mind is set that this baby's middle name will be William, after my dad. I don't mind if it's William. The only thing is, Brigham William Wyatt doesn't quiet flow. Bridger William Wyatt doesn't quite flow either, but it flows better then Brigham does. Robby said it doesn't matter if it flows because no one calls you by your full name any way. That is true.
I was thinking if we name him Brigham, we could shorten it and call him Briggs. I like Briggs. If we call him Bridger, you can't really shorten it, and like to shorten names. I wanted to chose a name that wasn't too common. Brigham isn't common at all! If you look on the SS website, in the past 100 yrs the name Brigham isn't even on their charts because it doesn't' hit the top 1000 top names in any year. There is only 574 Brigham's in the whole USA. That sounds like a lot, But it's not. most names have at least 2,000 even up to 4 million in the USA. The only Brigham I know or heard of is Brigham young. which is another reason I like that name. Brigham young was a great man. Bridger isn't' too common either, but more so then Brigham. So had some friends and family vote on the 2 names. Brigham has 9 votes and Bridger has 14 votes. So should I go with Bridger because I like that name, and it won the votes, or should I go with Brigham because I like it more? I just don't know.

Easter Weekend

The day before Easter we slept out at my parents. The men went to priesthood meeting, and the women and children hung out together. We met up with the men for ice cream at Arctic circle. A tradition that we have done for yrs. The next morning the kids got up to find their Easter baskets and eggs. Here they are, along with Lindsey and Hemi. Getting ready for the Hunt. The 4 cousins with their Easter Treasures.

After the kids found their baskets, the adults found theirs. The spouses usually buy for each other. We made one for Tawni. Robby with his girly basket (I used the basket my VT gave me. does it look familiar Jamie?)

After our hunt we had a big family breakfast. Lindsey and I made crepes and every one helped with the breakfast. to go along with crepes we had fruit, boiled eggs, muffins and juice. I wish I had pictures of our breakfast.

After breakfast we watched conference. It was hard to watch conference with all the kids. Luckily I DVR'd it and can watch it this week.

We had a hair doing party Sunday after conference. My sis Lindsey did my hair, I did my sis Tawni's hair, and Tawni did Lindsey's hair. I should have taken pictures of our hair do's. Lindsey straitened Abbey's hair for her first time. Abbey has really curly hair and we wanted to see what it would look like strait. here she is modeling her strait hair.

Cute little Hannah wanted to model too. She is photogenic.

After the second session of Conference we went to my Aunt Cindy's and Uncle Mitch's house for dinner. Like always they go all out. The food was so good! from ham sandwiches, salads, funeral potatoes, asparagus, chips, and 3 different desserts. so good! I forgot to bring my camera in and take pictures. shoot! (Ashlie or grams, if you took any, could I have copies?)

Abbey's Prayer

Abbey slept over at my sister Lindsey's house. Abbey said the nightly prayer. Lindsey said it was about 3 minutes long. Lindsey said it was fun listening to her prayer, that it didn't matter that it was so long! Lindsey told me a few things Abbey said in her prayer. Abbey said: "Thank you for the Easter party, it was so fun" She also said " thank you for my baby brother in my mom's belly and please bless that we can think of a name for him." The last thing I can remember is She said "Please bless us to be cooperative" I can't remember what else Lindsey said,but I thought those were cute and funny.

Easter party

Last night we had a Easter party with my cousins and siblings. I thought it was fun! We had a very good turn out.
I looked high and low for my camera, so I could take pictures, but I couldn't find it. :o( I didn't get one picture of the night.
we had dinner. Hot dogs, and people brought a dish to pass.
After dinner the kids colored eggs. They loved doing that. It was cute because the little kids would use their hands to take the eggs out of the cups. so they had their little hands dyed.
While the kids colored eggs, my cousins Kyle and Garrett entertained every one. They are so talented! They are hilarious and can entertain a crowed at a moments notice! They had every one laughing so hard!
After eggs coloring we had an indoors Easter egg hunt.
After the egg hunt we all decorated our own cupcakes. every one brought some kinds of candy to put on the cupcakes.
We had about 12 little kids there, and they had so much fun! Abbey spent the night at Lindsey's house last night. Lindsey told me that Abbey said the nightly prayer. In her prayer she said "Thanks for the Easter party, we had so much fun"
