Fearless........ I am not!

A lot of things scare me. You could call me Paranoid. I've always been this way, but unfortunately I've gotten worse with age.
I HATE wind and thunderstorms. While others love a good loud storm, and some might watch it from their front porch. You will find me with all my kids indoors with the National Weather station on, waiting for the latest warnings. If you could look into my brain, you will see it trying to figure out where I would run to in case of a Tornado. I don't have a basement, and that freaks me out.
I know, I know, I know. I live in Utah! Tornado's in Utah are like a clean house at the Wyatt's. It doesn't happen hardly ever, and when they do, they are small. But non the less, about once a month I have nightmares about Tornado's.
It seems that in the past few yrs, Tornado's have been on the rise. As predicted in the last days. Not only more of them, but worse ones. They will happen in places that don't usually get them.
In 5 1/2 weeks we will be taking a road trip across most of the U.S. to Michigan. I won't lie, I am scared thinking I will be driving in the middle of nowhere and BOOM Tornado strikes! What will we do? Where will we go? How will we survive? I'm freaking out inside. Do most people think like this? No, probably not. But I do.
I've been in 2 incidents where we had to take cover in a Tornado. Once in Michigan, it didn't end up being anything big, minimal damage a couple streets away. But it scared the crud out of me. Luckily we were at a house with a basement, so I wasn't too worried
Another time, Robby and I were on a road trip and traveling through Kansas. (Tornado Alley) we were in the Middle of nowhere and it was night. A storm was brewing and the weather guys were warning people to take shelter for possible Tornado. It was in the area we were at and  headed into. I was scared out of my mind!!! What would we do in that situation? plus at night, how do you see a Tornado? we didn't do anything but drive, because we didn't know what to do. luckily and obviously nothing happened.
So why I am I writing this? I would like to know a few things:
#1- what do you do when you are driving in the middle of nowhere?
#2- signs of a Tornado before one hits.
#3- SOMEONE smack or talk some sense into me, and tell me I am worrying for Nothing.

Now, don't get me started on Earthquakes, floods, and sink holes............... that's a whole new can of worms.

Growing by leaps and bounds

My kids seem to be growing up so fast! A quick update:

Eliza is already 10 months today!
*Has 4 teeth. Her first 2 came on a Sunday, at 6 months old. Her 3rd came at 9 1/2 months on a Sunday and a week later, on a Sunday came the 4th. Sunday is the Key day.
*She has no desire to crawl or stand. She is very content on sitting and getting around on her bum. scooting around. I am wondering if she will ever get around??
*She talks (jabbers) all day! I love to hear her talk, It's SOOOO cute!
*she laughs a lot
*about a week ago, started clapping.
*loves being around other babies
*Still sleeps with us. yes, I know, right?
*adored by all her siblings and they tell me every day, that they want her to stay little forever.
*Brigham calls her "cutie pie"
*Doesn't like to be covered up. sleeps better uncovered.
*Loves to give big, slobbery kisses

Brigham is 2 and a half.
*I Love, love, love the way he talks!!! He says the cutest things, and his voice is so adorable!
*His best friends are Adelaide, Max, and Rebekah (all cousins)
*He doesn't eat a lot, but he is not a picky eater, and will try everything.
*loves applesauce
*He is Mr. Sound effects. He is so fun to watch play with all his sounds.
*He is so afraid of bugs (like his mom and sister)
*He is very loving
*wild!
*Tiny little guy
*loves to sing songs

Jaden is 4, but will be 5 soon! wow!
*really enjoys preschool, and cant wait for Kindergarten
*started soccer and likes it a lot! He is pretty good too.
*animated, and I could hear his stories all day.
*Has become quite the helper and listening much better these days.
*has a new bunk bed, that he is so excited about!
*picky picky picky eater!
*likes to ride bikes, run, wrestle and jump on tramp
*not afraid of bugs at all
*he cant wait to go camping

Abbey is 6 1/2
*started at a new school. A charter school. we have really liked this school.  Abbey has had a hard time adjusting, but think she will like it, come 2nd grade
*is in soccer and plays hard. she does well
*she needs to do gymnastics, because that's what you'll find her doing in her spare time.
*she does well in school
*she is such a sweet girl who tries to do what is right all the time. She teaches me every day how to be a better person
*likes art and is good at it!
*A lot like her mom in so many ways.

Robby
*wants to go back to school and finish
*is having a fight next month and has been training for that
*is the best dad and husband ever! The kids adore him, and the Boys want to be just like him.

*Helped a mom in March, and it was a good experience. she had a home birth, and did great!
*going to be a volunteer at the UofU as a Doula
*not much new is happening. same ol, same ol
