Will we move?

Today we got an offer on our house. A full offer! We excepted it, so we will see what happens. I hope it all works out! We are so wanting a bigger place with a yard for the kids and dog. But I will be very sad to leave. I like my house that we have lived in for 5 yrs. I like the area, and I will miss my ward and friends. But we will be staying near by. Most likely in the Rose park area. I think there is a house in our ward that we will see. I hope it's still available. There are a couple north in Bountiful and NSL we want to look at. So wish us luck! We have been very prayerful. We want to make the right decision. But I will keep you all posted on what happens!

Last Monday Abbey was in a mean mood. She didn't want any thing to do with me. When it was time for gymnastics, she told me she didn't want me to come. So I didn't. Robby told her that she made me very sad. After gymnastics Robby said "should we get mom flowers? you made her sad and this will make her happy!" Abbey was really excited to get me flowers. She came running in and handed me the flowers and apologized. The next 2 days, every time she didn't listen and I would get after her, she would say "mom, you can't be mad at me, I brought you flowers!" Abbey has a tender heart deep down inside. She has been making lots of new friends at the gym. She gets so excited when she See's all her friends! One little girl at the gym was coughing allot. Abbey was so concerned. She kept asking the girl in a concerned, sympathetic voice "Are you ok?" She is always making sure, every one is ok. Another little girl about 3 yrs old was climbing on a bucket next to the drinking fountain to get a drink. Abbey was telling her, "you be careful, don't fall". It was so cute to hear her caring for others. When ever I am sad or sick, she comforts me. Last night she wanted a snack. I asked her what she wanted. Most little kids would say a fruit snack, or something not too healthy. But Last night Abbey asked for green beans, cottage cheese and pineapple!

Jaden baby! He is so smiley, happy, lovable little guy! He loves to snuggle and kiss. When ever Robby gets home he has a huge smile on and wiggles around clapping! If he sees Abbey come in the room he also gets so excited! He turned 8 months on the 24th! he is growing up so fast! Nothing really new to tell you about him. He loves to run in his walker. He will run to you, or chase you around the kitchen. The other day we went to Hannah's gymnastic performance and when every one clapped, he clapped too. He was getting in it.

Our 8 yr anniversary was 2 weeks ago. I had wanted to post some wedding pics then, but never had time. So I am posting them now. But I decided to put pictures up of our first year of marriage. Looking back to the past. In this picture is us picking Robby up from the airport when he returned from his mission. In the picture is my brother Dallin and Amanee, then Robby age 20 almost 21, me I am 19 and my sister Lindsey.

We got Married February 9th 2001. We were married in the Manti temple. I was 19, Robby 21.

This was our first place. We rented my Uncle and Aunt's basement apartment in Bountiful. We lived there for a year and a half.

We traveled tons when we were first married. Well we traveled a lot until we had kids. This is our first trip to Tennessee. We went to Tennessee twice our first yr of marriage. Robby had a good friend die that he knew from his mission. So when we got the call, we packed up and left that night. We left at midnight, and drove strait there. So these next two pictures are of us driving to Tennessee.

About the kids

I don't have too much going on to write about. So I am making a post about the kids. What's new with them.
Abbey is still in gymnastics and loves it! They have at least 10 kids in the class, I think maybe 15. Abbey is the best in her class. Her teacher came up to Robby last Monday and said. Abbey is doing really well. She is the best in the class! She said she would like to move her up to the 3 yr old class. So we will see what days and times the 3 yr old class is, and move her up.
Right now she is learning opposites. She will look at a book and tell me if the object is in something or out, or if it's on top or bottom, big or small. Abbey is saying her own prayers now. It's so cute! she will go on forever talking about her day, and thanking heavenly father for all sorts of things!
Right now she is learning that she is our daughter and Jaden is our son. She has a baby doll, that she now calls her daughter. It's really cute!
Jaden is trying to crawl. In way it's good because he will be happy to get around better. But in away I don't want him to crawl, because that means more work for me. So if it takes longer for him to crawl, I am A-O-K with that.
He has been clapping, thanks to Abbey and all her help in teaching him. Jaden just started giving "5's"! Jaden jabbers all the time dada, abba, and all other sorts of jabbering. Now I am going to knock on wood when I write this. knock knock! But Jaden has been sleeping through the night for the past 3 nights! Even in his own bed! I know it's crazy, he should have been way before now, he is 7 and a half months now. But I am happy he has slept 3 nights in a row, that hasn't ever happened!
I haven't put any pics on for awhile. My camera broke, and I just got a new one, and haven't quite figured it out yet. But I will soon.

Valentines day

Every Valentines we work at the flower patch and deliver flowers. We really enjoy working there. When Robby was going to school for 3 yrs, he worked at the flower patch. It was his favorite job.
This yr, my parents and Lindsey baby sat for us so we could go work.

We worked from 8:30-2:30. It was nice just being with Robby, and being able to talk for hours with no interruptions from kids. Plus bringing people flowers is always fun!
Then we picked up the kids from my parents, and came back home just in time to head out to dinner and a movie! My friend Michelle offered to baby sit for us. She is awesome! she baby sat her 2 nieces and nephew over at my house too. (brave women)
So Robby and I got to go out on a date!!!!! That seldom ever happens. I can count on 1 hand, how many times we have gone out alone, just the 2 of us, in 2 and a half yrs. The last time we went to the theater was a yr ago!
We had a great time! We ate at a little cute Italian restaurant in Bountiful, called Marcello's. They have really good food, and it's unique.
Then we went to the gateway 8 theaters in Bountiful. We saw the movie he's just not that into you.
It was funny, but not the best movie I've seen. But it was so nice just to be out with Robby.
Robby got me a necklace, earrings, flowers, and chocolate covered strawberries. He even thought of the kids and got Abbey a necklace/locket, and Jaden a toy.

The other day I told Abbey that we needed to keep the house clean, because some one was coming to look at it.
Abbey: why?
me: because maybe they will want to buy it.
Abbey: why?
me: well if they buy it, we can get a new house! A big house!
Abbey: ok, good!
A little while later I hear Abbey up in her room rummaging through her closet, then I hear clinking like money coming out of her piggy bank.
she came down stairs holding about 25 cents in change. she hands it to me and says "here mom, here is my monies. Now you can buy our new house." I thought that was dang cute!
Yesterday morning Abbey was playing with her toys, and I was sitting on the floor with Jaden. Abbey came by me, huffing and puffing like she is upset about something. She grabs her toy and huffs and puffs back to her corner, where she was playing.
me: what's wrong abbey?
Abbey: I am just REALLY tired!
me: why?
Abbey: because you and Jaden were talking SO loud this morning and woke me up!!! I am so mad now.
hahaha! she totally got that from me! I am so not a morning person. I am usually huffing and puffing around the house all grouchy. She always asks me "what's wrong", and I tell her "nothing, I am just way tired, and it makes me mad."

Jaden was falling asleep as I feed him, but he was hungry, so he didn't want to go to sleep. By the time Robby got his phone to record, he had been doing this for awhile!

Our annivesary

On Monday the 9th, is mine and Robby's 8 yr anniversary! So yesterday we celebrated it by going to a bed and breakfast. We stayed at a place called Castle Creek inn. I believe it's in Murray. It's the coolest place! We stayed there for our honey moon 8 yrs ago. It looks like a castle. The surrounding area is nice, with tree's, and a stream. The rooms are themed rooms. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet on our honey moon, but because of the cost, we stayed in a different room this yr. It was the Raponzle (sp) Tower. It was nice! It had a cozy fire place, and a big jetted tub. They had complementary sparkling cider with wine glasses, all sorts of drinks, and snacks. They had complementary games and movies you could bring to your room.
It was awesome! The best part of all was to get away from every thing, all responsibilities and kids. My sister Tawni and my brother Dallin came and baby sat! Thank you Tawni and Dallin!!!!!
But the other fun part for us, was Lindsey and Hemi was also celebrating their anniversary. 4 yrs. Their anniversary was on the 4th. So they also stayed at the Castle creek inn. They stayed in the Edinburgh (sp) room. Hemi had the whole day planned out for Lindsey and it was all a surprise. She told me that she was wishing we were going to be staying at the same place together, so that we could all hang out. We tricked her, and told her we weren't. She had no idea we were. When we got to the hotel, we knocked at their door and surprised her,and said "hi neighbor". We love hanging out with Lindsey and Hemi! (for their honey moon, they wanted to come to Las vegas with us. So that's what they did.)
So all of us went to dinner at mimi's cafe. Then we went our separate ways. In the morning we all met for breakfast in the hotel. The breakfast area was nice and fancy, with yummy food. It was way fun, and I am sad it had to come to a end. I wanted to stay one more night!!

Flash back Friday

my grandma did a flash back Friday on her blog. I that that was fun! So here is my flash back Friday!

This picture here is of my cousin Katie on the left and me on the the right. I was 12 or 13 in this picture. in this picture we had just moved to Herriman. We lived in a 2 bedroom, one bath mobile home. It was a 1970 something mobile home. my parents, and 5 kids living in there, kind of squishy. Plus our dog.

The mobile home wasn't the nicest thing to live in. It was on a slant, the roof leaked in the living room, we didn't have a stove or oven, the dryer didn't work, we hung our clothes, my sister and I shared a room that was the size of a bathroom, and my 3 brothers slept in the living room. Kind of crazy! in this picture I was 13 or 14 yrs old, and my sister Lindsey was 9 or 10 yrs old.

Me and one of my 13 Rat's I had. My brother Dallin and I both bought a rat. Not knowing it, we had bought 2 female rat's that were pregnant. So we ended up with 13. But the sick thing was, Dallin's rat ate all her babies, then died. Yuck, I know! age 18
