hung my head and cried

For the past 2 weeks, Abbey has had a hard time going to sleep. It will take her hours to fall asleep. last night and a few other nights in the past 2 weeks, I will hear her in her bed singing to herself. She usually sings the song 'you are my sunshine' while she is singing, she is trying not to cry. But every time she gets to the part of the song in 'you are my sun shine' that says " I hung my head and I cried" she always bursts out crying. I guess when she sings about hanging her head and crying she just can't hold it in any more.

Today I was making dinner in the crock pot. Abbey was up on the chair watching me, and sorta helping out. When I finished I said "I will be right back, I have to run to the bathroom". She said "OK mom, I will wait right here and keep an eye on the dinner".
When I came back she was sitting on the counter watching the dinner ever so intensely. She said "I did a good job keeping an eye on the dinner, huh mom?"

Jaden has been so love able lately. Like for example this morning when he woke up he just clung to me putting his head on my arm and when he would lay his head on me, he would sigh and say "oooohhhhh" like he was just so happy. Then he will kiss me over and over and over. He does this all the time! It's so cute! I love how loving he is. Today he went over to Abbey when Abbey was on her bean bag and cuddle with her and said "oooohhhhh" all happily and then kissed her over and over again. Love it!

Robby, and Uncle Dallin worked their buns off on Saturday to lay the wood floor on the play room. The wood floor is done in that room. We need to put baseboards back on and do the living room and we will finally be done. It's been a big project.

Abbey had fallin asleep on the chair and Jaden was on my lap. He got off my lap and walked over to the chair, climbed up and fell to sleep on Abbey. He wanted to sleep by his big sister. So cute!

*Every Sunday in Primary the kids are suppose to bring their scriptures. The primary Pres, will ask for the kids to hold their scriptures up, and they count every one's Scriptures and put noodles in a jar, and when the jar fills to the top, they will have some kind of surprise. Every Sunday Abbey brings her little scriptures in her little case. She is so proud to hold them up. Last Sunday we left her scriptures in the car. So when they asked all the kids to raise them up, she realized she didn't have hers. She started crying so hard and ran to the primary president and hugged her and said "I forgot my scriptures"! she was so upset. She ran to Robby and crying and told him "Go out to the car and get my scriptures! I need them." It was so cute. I hope she always wants her scriptures.

*Today Jaden got Abbey's baby doll and was hugging and cuddling with it and kept kissing it. He loves babies! Abbey was watching him kiss and hug the baby, she looked at him smiling and then said to him "That's right Jaden, that's the right thing to do." so cute! she is just so motherly.

*Jaden hasn't really put too many words together until today and he put 2 words together. I gave them both a vitamin. Jaden ate his, but Abbey was holding on to hers. Jaden looked at Abbey while she was holding her vitamin. He said "Abba's eat" Wanting Abbey to eat her vitamin. Ha! finally trying to talk a little.

*For the last week, I think I can feel my little boy move in my belly. I can sometimes feel these little flutters. I can't wait until he starts moving all over. That is the best!

IT'S A.............................................BOY

I knew it was a boy right when we saw the baby up on the screen. Before the Ultra sound tech even got to the part when we got to see the gender I said "Is it a boy"? It was very obvious. The tech said " I don't know yet, we haven't got to that part". As soon as we saw between the legs we knew. It was as clear as can be.
I wanted to down load the pictures on the computer so I could show every one, but my scanner isn't working. So when I get it working, I will.
I thought it was a boy because I wasn't as sick as I was with Abbey. I was hoping for a girl, because Abbey had her heart set on a girl. Plus I wanted to use Abbey's adorable girl clothes and bedding. But we are so excited for another little boy. I told Abbey that she will be are spoiled little princess, and she will have so much fun with her new little brother. she is ok with it now. But at the Ultra sound place, she put her head down and had a pudge lip when she found out what it was. In the car on the way home, she said, it's ok, we will have a girl on the next baby! Yikes! I don't know if there will be a next baby. we will see.

Wyatt family news

What is new with the Wyatt's:

*Robby has been working hard with all our house projects. He has painted our living room a light tan color, and is almost done painting the play room a blue color. He has laid the tile in the front entry way with the help of my dad. Thanks dad! This weekend we will start on the floors. our floors are cement, so we first need to level the cement. (bunch of work) Can't wait until it's done. So far I love the changes!

*I am 14 1/2 weeks along. (second trimester) I think this time, I really might be feeling better. I spoke too soon last time. I still have bouts of nausea, mostly in the morning and night and a little through out the day, but not nearly as bad. YAY! I have so much more energy, it's not like it was before I was pregnant, but I am cleaning house, cooking dinners and doing laundry now!
I need to buy maternity clothes soon, my pants just about don't fit.
I can't wait to find out the sex of the baby so I can stop calling it a it. I am thinking of going and paying a little bit and finding out the sex sooner. I could find out in a week in a half. If I don't, then I wont find out for another 5 1/2 weeks. I am impatient.

*Abbey is just as cute as ever, my big helper, and a great big sister. Every day she amazes me with how much she learns.

*Jaden is talking more, he learns new words every day, but still man of few words. He laughs a lot and loves to snuggle. He loves his grandpa Bill and always wants to see him. My dad had brought us some tools and stuff for our house project and Jaden always points to them and says papa. He will bring me the phone and say papa. he wants to call my dad. When ever he is around my dad, he is by his side, hugging or holding on to him.

*baby in my belly can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his thumb! It's facial muscles are getting a workout as It's tiny features form one expression after another. It can grasp, From head to bottom, he measures 3 1/2 inches — about the size of a lemon — and he weighs 1 1/2 ounces. (but my baby is measuring bigger then the average at this time. no surprise) Though you can't feel it's tiny punches and kicks yet, it's hands and feet (which now measure about 1/2 inch long) are more flexible and active.

*Can't wait for spring and love that it's warming up!

We will miss you Oma

My Great Grandma Charlott Spencer (We called her Oma) She died today. She was 98, she would have been 99 on July 7th. She lived a long good life. We will miss her, and we love her. But she is in a better place,out of pain and with loved ones who passed before. One being her daughter Aunt Bev. We went to Michigan last August. The main reason we went last year, was to see Oma, because we knew she probably didn't have too much longer left. I am so glad we did. I got to take these pictures and get a 5 generation picture with her and my kids. Not many kids have a picture with their Great, Great Grandma. She is the last of my Greats.

Abbey is watching me make this post and she just said "I remember when you pulled her pants down." then she started laughing. Oma needed help going to the bathroom, so I did help take off her pants and help her to the toilet. Abbey remembers that, but didn't remember why I took her pants off.

Abbey just a few weeks ago asked about Oma. She said she wants to go back to Michigan and see her.

Last August when we returned from from Michigan Abbey told me "Oma is white all over."

Even though Oma lived in Michigan, we were lucky enough to go visit often and she came out to Utah to visit.

She was fun to talk to, and be around. She loved to dance and to party. I remember having her big birthday parties up on the top floor of her old apartment building. we would always have music and dance.

When I was about 7 years old, I slept over at her house, along with my cousin Katie. I remember she made us breakfast in the morning. I am a slow eater and she wanted me to eat faster, so she decided to take matters into her own hands and feed me. It was funny.

She had a very good memory until the day she died. She remembered every one and everything.

She was always so active and very popular! She had so many friends. In the nursing home she was always out of her room mingling, and playing cards or bingo.

It will be weird going to Michigan and her not being there. I will miss her.

Good News

Abbey's test results came back, and they came back saying everything is good! yay!! I can stop worrying

AAAY- GO

Jaden's favorite T.V. program is Diego. He asks for the "momote" remote, and when he finds it, he hands it to me and says all excited "AAY-GO!" Diego. I turned Diego on for him and he climbed up on the couch to get all comfy to watch it. I asked him, "what are you watching?" I got the camera ready to snap his picture when he yells excitedly "AAY-GO!" So this is a picture of him saying Diego!This is him watching so seriously. He gets into it and wont listen to anything around him.

Abbey went to the doctors today to get 2 more shots in her sore pudgy legs. I think and hoping this will be the last time getting those shots. She hasn't had a fever for 24 hours. She has to go back to the doctor again tomorrow just for a follow up and if her fever doesn't come back tomorrow then she won't have to get shots and if her fever doesn't come back, it is a good sign that it might not be any thing serious. We should know the results tomorrow. I got Abbey's inhaler today and see if it helps. I hope it's not asthma. That inhaler was expensive the insurance only covered $8.00 of it! what the heck! So I had to pay $100.00 and she may not even need it. I will let you know tomorrow what happens.

worried again

Abbey has had this dry cough and she is always clearing her throat constantly. She has been doing it for the past 6 weeks. So last Wednesday I took her to the doctor to get it checked out. The doctor said she might have Asthma, but wasn't sure, so she gave me a prescription for an inhaler. She said to try it out, and see if it helps and if not then to go see an ENT doctor. I put the prescription in on Wednesday but haven't picked it up yet. But Wednesday night she got a fever, but with no new real sick symptoms. I didn't think her dry cough had anything to do with her fever because she had it for so long and she was just seen, so I wondered what she had that could be causing her fever. Thursday she still had a fever with no symptoms, then Friday she had a stuffy/runny nose and still a fever so I called the doctor to see what she thinks could be causing it. They said probably just a virus and it will go away on it's own. I said I doubt it she doesn't have any symptoms. I just knew something else was causing her a fever, I thought she had an infection somewhere. Saturday her fevers got worse, and she was feeling worse. She kept crying and saying she is sick. Her nose was bothering her even more so I thought ok, it must be her nose I won't bother taking her in, it will go away. Then Saturday night I had this feeling it was something more, she had some infection somewhere. But I didn't know where. so I thought if she has a fever on Sunday I would take her to instacare. Saturday night I was holding her and she said "mom, do sometimes people hurt when they pee?" I thought, oh it's a bladder or urinary tract infection. So Sunday she still had a fever and she was feeling worse. so I took her to instacare and they took a urine sample and they said it came back with lots of "gunk" in her urine.(that is the word they used) she has a ear infection and a kidney infection, and they are worried that she could have other kidney problems. 2 that I remember them saying is that her urine goes back up into her kidney's and the other problem she could have is a tumor on her kidney. I wont know the results until Wednesday. Wednesday we will find out if it's just a kidney infection or something more, if it's more we will do an ultrasound and stuff to fine out what. They gave her 2 very painful shots into her legs and has to go back tomorrow for another round of shots and she will have to keep going back for shots until her fever is gone for more then 24 hours. I sure hope her fever goes away, because those shots are so painful for her.
I am so nervous thinking about what it could be. we always have these worries with her. plus I am worried she has asthma. I will get the inhaler tomorrow and see what happens. One thing I remember now is Abbey talking about her hip hurting, but now I am thinking she was talking about where here kidney is. I think that is where she was pointing the other day.

Just Crackin me up!

I have some more funny or cute stories of Abbey. I hope you aren't getting tired of hearing them.

Yesterday Jaden, Abbey and I were sitting around the table eating our oat meal. Abbey counted all of us. 1, 2, and 3. She then says "There is only 3 of us at the table. A piece of our family is missing." -a short pause- "Dad is the piece that is missing. I wish he was here to eat oatmeal with us."

Then she said "Last night I had a dream about me eating a cupcake." I said " oh yummy" Abbey said " yeah, it was a BEAUTIFUL dream!" LOL!

Then yesterday I see a brown streak on the wall. I asked out loud "who did this, and what is this?" Abbey said "I don't know. I didn't destroy the wall!"

Last night Abbey wouldn't go to sleep. I was feeling really sick and didn't want to deal with her, so I told her to come lay next to me in bed for a little bit. So we walk into my bed room. I had all these clean clothes laying on my bed. Abbey said with this discuss in her voice. " who destroyed your bed with all these clothes?"

so we get into bed and I am tossing and turning, moaning and groaning because I am sick and can't sleep. Abbey sits up and rubs my back and says "I am sorry honey, I don't know what to do for you."

Me trying not to laugh, say "It's ok, there is nothing you can do."

Abbey: "well did you take your medicine?"

me: "yes, I did. Thanks."

Abbey "well you need to eat some more crackers, and drink some more sprite."

What a cute little stinker, always looking out for me.

Then we laid in bed talking. She asked me so many questions. Like, "do we have blood in our bodies?" I explained that we do. Then she asked if animals do, like donkeys, monkey's and cats and so on. I explained that they do. Then she asked if the Holy Ghost did. I told her no, and explained that. Then she asked if the Holy Ghost walked around with a white sheet on his head! hahaha! I tried to explain that one too.

Then she asked me all about bones. Just like she did about blood. So I explained about bones.

Then her finally question before we went to sleep was "So, what is a Nokia processor, and what does it do?" I laughed so hard. I said "A nokia processor?" What??? She said she saw it on a commercial. What 3 yr old asks about that? I didn't even know what it was, so we called Robby in, to ask him. He didn't know, But I looked it up and it's a part of a nokia phone that processes info.

I can't believe some of the things she comes up with!

What is new..........

*I am 12 weeks along now. On Sunday I will be in my 2nd trimester. So far the baby looks and sounds good. I can't wait to find out the sex. At first I thought it's a girl, Then a boy, then a girl, and now I think boy. I can't make up my mind.

*It seems like my morning sickness might be lightening up a little...........maybe? A little.......Knock on wood.

*We are going to start a big house project! We are going to paint the living room, rip up the carpet and tile in the front room and change the tile and then put Pergo in. I am nervous, but I trust Robby can do it, and do it good. Then we will put in a gas fireplace later on this yr.

*Jaden is growing out of all his clothes and we need to go on a shopping spree and get him some new clothes.

*Jaden is a wild boy! He is always on the go. He is all boy. Rough and tough and destructive. I was lucky that Abbey never colored on the wall, but he colored on the wall, tile and door, and carpet with marker. He smashes food into the carpet and throws food all over the kitchen. He is the reason we are taking out the carpet and putting in pergo. The other day he got his Peanut butter and honey sandwich and laid it on the carpet and then got Abbey's baby stroller and smashed his sandwich with it. Boys!

*Jaden loves to play with balls. He is really good at kicking them, and has quite an arm for throwing them. He also can make good shots in his hoop.

*Even though Jaden is rough and tumbley, he still a lover. He loves to hung, kiss and cuddle.

*his favorite show is Diego!

*He is learning lots of new words, but only says them once in a while and on his terms.

*He goes to nursery now with out crying.

*He loves, loves balloons!

*Abbey is still cracking us up every day, with the things she says and does.

*Her favorite show is Max and Ruby (I don't know why, it's so boring)

*Lately I have had a very hard time getting her to pick up her toys. Yesterday I asked her to pick them up and she said "no." So I said, "if you don't you will go to time out." then next thing I know, she is sitting in the time out spot. I tell her to pick up her toys and she says "No, I will just sit in time out."

*She is learning so much in Primary and loves it! She comes home telling us stories of what she learned and songs she has learned. She had her first primary party last Saturday and loved it.

*she still goes to gymnastics and loves it.

*Robby cut back working at the gym, so he could be home more. We love it!

*Robby has started teaching private Muay Thai Lessons in our garage. He has about 4-5 people who come.
