Grandma Nell's Christmas party

Every year for Christmas for as long as I have been around, plus longer, we have our Grandma Nell Christmas party. We always love going! I think I have only missed maybe 3 parties my whole life! Here are some pictures from the party, I didn't take too many this yr, just too busy socializing and chasing kids. Hannah Jo

Saturday we went to see my adorable niece Hannah at her Christmas dance performance. She was so cute in her little costume. She did really good with her dance!

Lion House

Every year for Christmas, my Grandparents take our big family to the Lion house. It is always so fun, and such great time with the family. Here are some pictures of the family.

But it was a fun party at my sisters club house. We had pizza, bread sticks, and ice cream. We did a white elephant and had a good time talking and laughing! Thanks Lindsey and Hemi!

Abbey's performance

Abbey has been in gymnastics for a yr and 3 months now. She loves it. This is her 3rd performance. I didn't get too many pictures of her tricks because my camera is slow. But here are some.

Jaden got ot Jump on the tramp and loved it! When he is 2, he will start going to gymnastics too.

The kids loved picking out a tree. When Jaden got to the tree, he went over and bit the branch. I don't know why. But then he said "cucka"

Blogging is fun, and I love to read other peoples blogs too and see what is new and exciting in your lives.
But when I write my blog, I am not writing an English paper for school, So please don't leave comments on my blog correcting my spelling. I know I am not good at spelling, but it's my blog, and it's not meant for those to read and correct me, it's for me to write freely and not feel like some one is correcting my spelling. I don't know who it is, But I have an idea, and I would like to tell that person to stop, it's not a very nice thing to do. Thanks~!

What a guy

My husband is the best! I just love him to pieces! He helps me out all the time. I wanted to share some examples of what he does for me.
I could tell you so many that you would be reading for days. but the most recent example was when I was sick with my strange illness It was so hard for me to do my school work. I needed to do an assignment on the computer but the thoughts of sitting up and typing seemed unbearable! So I laid on the couch and told Robby what to write and he would type it for me. He typed a big long paper for me! With just about all my papers I had to write, he helped me. I am horrible at writing and making things flow to sound good, so I needed his help.
So because I was sick for 3 weeks I was behind on my school work. I had to cram my school work in the last 4 days of school. So for 4 days that is all I did, school work, and my house got neglected big time. Robby would come home on his lunch break, just to clean the house for me. He didn't even eat lunch, just cleaned.
Some other examples of my love bug is; When I was pregnant with Abbey I was SO sick! I didn't want to get out of bed, I just laid there trying not to throw up all day every day. There were times that we need to be some where and I was too sick to get up and do my hair. I would lay on the bed while Robby would blow dry my hair and straiten it for me.
Many times while I was pregnant or had the flu, the only thing to calm my stomach is to drink sprite. He would get up in the middle of the night to get me a sprite from the gas station. When I am throwing up, he sits with me in the bathroom and hold my hair, and helps me. What a guy! How many husbands do that? Not many. I got so lucky!!! Thanks Robby, I love you!

Seattle

Every year for Christmas we go to Seattle or Portland for Robby's company Christmas party. His boss flies us all out, and puts us up in a nice hotel. (The Westin) This yr we went to Seattle. They also pay for all of our meals. We get to eat out any where and order what ever we want. We get a taste of how the rich live. It's nice!
Robby works with my dad and brother Dallin, so it was kinda like a family vacation. Really fun to go together.
We left Friday Afternoon and come home Sunday afternoon.
Friday we spent hours trying to find a place to eat. Every restaurant was packed! like 2 hour waits. We didn't end up eating until 10 pm at night. But while we were searching for a place to eat, we were entertained with carolers out on the streets of Seattle. They had many streets closed just for this HUGE Caroling competition. It was awesome! Thousands of people swarmed the streets. This is a picture of Robby, my mom, brother Dallin and his wife Grisel in the hotel.

The next morning we ate dinner at a place called Lola's. It was the best breakfast I had ever had. It was different then your usual. Totaly recomend it to any one going to Seattle.

After breakfast we went shopping, then out to eat at the Cheese cake factory.
After lunch we headed to Pikes Market. This was an ugly fish at the market. Dallin and Robby got a nice smell of it.

At Pikes Market they have a donut shop that is famous, and was on the travel channel or something like that. We are standing in the line to get some donuts. long line! But I didn't think those donuts were that great. But good to try. (don't we all look so excited? my dad is tickling my mom.)

That night went to the party. It's more of a formal party. It's nice, and fancy. we have cocktail hour first (of course virgin drinks) Then dinner, dancing and karaoke. It was martigraw (sp) style.

The party was fun, and what made it most entertaining was watching the one who had been drinking, getting wild! Seriously wild! I mean using the wood beams to pole dance. yes, very entertaining.























heading home. Was sad to leave, but happy to see my kids again.
