Down at the river on the boardwalk, they always have lots men, mostly old men, fishing every day and night. They set up there poles like this one here in the picture. It's in a holder and it has a bell at the end. So they sit back in their camp chairs talking, cook dinner on their camp grills with their music playing on their radio. When the bell rings, they know they've got a fish. I always wanted to fish down at the boardwalk. So this time we brought our fishing poles. The boys went to the store and bought bait and also found out they needed to buy this huge heavy metal weight for their poles. I guess the current in the river is so strong that they need to use these weights. So when we put the weights on, it practically bent the pole in half. But we still used it. We probably looked so silly with our cheap, small, wimpy poles trying to fish with the pro's.

It was nice fishing and watching the ships come through.

Hemi caught the first fish. Just look at that beauty! A nice 4 inch! The weight at the end of the Pole was bigger then the fish. hahaha!

Robby is determined to catch a big one!

Aunt Judy came along, but wanted to curl up under her blanket and read her books!

Doesn't she look cute!?

oops, same pic. sorry.

Robby caught the second fish. wow, Lindsey is impressed! I think it was almost a 4 inch! Poor guys. The men next to us, kept catching these big fish.
Oh but Robby did catch a itty bitty clam.

But all and all, it was fun!
I made a post earlier today, down below, take a look see!
