Fathers day

Made Robby breakfast in bed, but the kids probably ate more of Robby's food, then he did. cuddling with dad on Fathers day

This is a late post. But better late, then never.

When I think of my dad, I think of some one who is just about perfect. He is such a great example to me.

*Growing up we had family home evening every Monday.

*We read our scriptures as a family every night or every morning with out fail. Even at a very young age.

*We rarely missed church, we even went to church on vacation.

*We always had family dinner, and family prayer.

My dad always made sure we did these things. I am very grateful for that.

*My dad taught us the importance of work, and going to school.

*still to this day, I think my dad is the smartest man out there. When ever I have a question about religion, politics, the world, or what ever, he will know the answer.

*my dad has always been a hard worker, always provided for his family.

*my dad taught us to be honest and not to judge, or gossip.

*My dad looks for the good in every one.

Some fond memories of my dad growing up are:

*wrestling with him, he was always so fun to wrestle with.

*Him taking us for rides on the 4 wheeler

*going camping or to the cabin and he would take us on treasure hunts

*He would make up funny songs for us

*reading us stories, or making up funny stories

*doing donuts in the parking lots of stores

*driving home at night with him singing to the radio

*eating his good cooking and made up recipes!

Thanks dad for all you did, and do for me and my family. I love you!

My kids couldn't ask for a better dad. Robby lives for his kids, he does every thing for them or with them.

-When my kids were infants Robby got up with them at night to feed and hold them.

-When my kids are sick, he will get up them to hold or comfort them.

-When Abbey wakes up scared, he will help her, or let them sleep with us.

-When Abbey (and now Jaden) did gymnastics it was a "mommy me class" Robby wanted to take them through, and once a week, he would take the kids to their class.

-He always wants to make sure he is at important invents for them.

-Robby comes home for lunch, and he spends his hour playing with the kids.

-When he comes home from work, if he isn't doing house projects, he is playing with the kids.

-He changes diapers, helps puts the kids to bed, and even gets up with them, to let me sleep in.

-He sings to the kids at night and tucks them in.

-When it's their birthday, Robby will take the day off from work to be with them and make it a special day for them.

-He is always thinking of fun things to do with them.

-When Christmas or birthday's come around he is the first one on the computer looking for gifts to buy the kids.

-I could never ask for a better dad for my kids. I love you Robby, Thanks for all you do for them, and me.
