Random phone pictures

Because we still haven't gone out and bought a new battery charger for our camera, we have used Robby's phone to take pics. So they aren't the greatest. But here are the kids in their Halloween costumes.

Abbey really wants me to have another baby. She tells every one I am, and she always asks me when the baby will come. Lately she has been putting dolls or stuffed animals in her shirt, as if she is pregnant. She fell asleep with 2 dolls and a monkey in her shirt.

The kids LOVE to see daddy at his work. They love When Robby takes them for a ride on the fork lift. Not only do they get to see dad, but Papa Bill and uncle Dallin too.

The cute and the scary

Monday Abbey had gymnastics. That day it was themed around Halloween. They had made a little, not so scary haunted house for the kids. (It wasn't scary, it was a cute haunted house) But Abbey being so scared of anything Halloweeny, didn't not want to go into the Haunted house. Her teacher kept trying to coax her. She wouldn't. But then along came Dillan, her night in shinning armor! (Abbey's little boy friend) He took her by the hand, and lead her through the haunted house! For the rest of the hour Dillan would wait for her to get to the haunted house, and help her through. It was real cute. Abbey and Dillan are always flirting and tickling each other.

But on the scary end of gymnastics. Jaden was running around the room, like he always does. Robby and I were talking to each other and when I looked to see Jaden he wasn't there! I got all panicked and jumped up yelling for him. He wasn't any where in the building, so I ran out side to the Parking lot. There he was at the end of the parking lot standing behind a suburban, that was just about ready to leave! Talk about heart attack! If I were just seconds later, he would have been ran over.

Just let me be!

Abbey was in the bathroom doing her business. I knocked on the door to come in and start hers and Jaden's bath water.
Abbey "Don't come in, I am going to the bathroom!"
Me "It's ok Abbey, just let me in."
Abbey "No, I am trying to wipe my bum."
Me "Well, I want to start your bath water, it's ok, just let me in." (I am saying this while Jaden is pounding on the door.)
Abbey "Just let me be guys! Just let me be!"

We are a happy family!

We got our family pics taken last Thursday at Target. These copies ar blury, but the real ones aren't. They are just sample ones.

Jaden would not stop crying, so we didn't get really any good ones of the kids together.

International Buffet

I had an idea to have an International Buffet for Sunday dinner at my parents. Because our family is so International, I thought it would be fun to try all sorts of different foods. For those of you who don't know, My parents adopted my sister and Brother from Ethiopia. Etagegne (Tawni) came when she was 15, and My brother Amanual (Amanee) Came when he was 6. My sister Lindsey Married Hemi who is from New Zealand. He is Mauri, and Samoan. My brother Dallin Married Grisel who is Bolivian. Both Grisel and Hemi came from their countries to marry my brother and sister.
So for the Buffet my Parents made Fish sticks, cole slaw, and English Muffins because their ancestors came from England.
My sister Tawni made a potato, carrot and pepper Ethiopian dish.
Robby and I made Irish Fadge (potato bread) because Robby's ancestors are from Ireland. We also made Native American Fry bread because Robby Native American ancestors too. ( I know that is not International, but it was different)
My brother Spencer and his wife Lindsey made a German dish with Pork and Apples. Lindsey's family is German.
Lindsey and Hemi made a Pumpkin soup. Something they eat a lot of in New Zealand.
My brother Dallin and Grisel made a Peanut soup. A dish from Bolivia.
It was fun, and interesting.

Not too much happening

Nothing exciting happening here. The week days are the same ole same ole. Just cleaning the house, taking care of kids and doing school work. The kids are good, school is going well, but the house never seems to stay clean.
The weekends are always jammed pack full of things to do and things to get done. I wish I could spread the weekend fun through out the week.
2 Weekends ago, We took Abbey to the circus! That was lots of fun! It was her first time, and my 2nd. Abbey had fun, but didn't have a very long attention span. After like a minute of one act, she wanted them to go to the next. But she was dancing and singing through the whole thing.
I wish I had a picture. But I still don't have my camera. I haven't taken a picture in a month and a half.
Later that night we went to Oktoberfest! Well my friend Shannon put on her own Oktoberfest! When she Parties, she Parties!! Her family goes ALL out!! They had Polka music, dancing and cheers! They had the cutest German decor. Decked to the hills! They had food Galore! They had brats, and all kinds of German salads, pasta's breads and desserts. They even got every one a German hat to wear, and a beerstien. (sp) It was awesome! Again, I have no pictures. I am so bummed.
This past weekend was conference weekend. We unfortunately didn't get to hear much of it, because of the kids. It makes it real hard. But we went to my parents and stayed the weekend with them.
Robby and I have been painting Jaden's room, and trying to clear out and clean up the garage so that Robby can have private Muay Thai lessons in the garage. So if any one is interested in Muay Thai lessons, let us know!
But that is what's been happening here. Not too much.
