Jaden is so funny, when it comes to celebrating his birthday. He has never like attention on him. It embarrasses him to the core.
That morning of his birthday, we sang to him, and he ran to his room crying. He didn't want anyone to sing to him. Silly boy.
He got to chose breakfast. He chose recesses peanut butter cup cereal. (just like his dad)
Jaden didn't have to do chores on his birthday.
I thought he would love it if Paw Patrol (one of his favorite cartoons on Nick Jr) called him on his birthday. I was wrong. He cried and hid under the table and said he didn't want to talk to them. Again no attention on his birthday; what so ever. bummer.
He also got to pick his dinner. He chose Pizza (Again, just like his dad)
we had cake and ice cream, but didn't sing.
After dinner we got his present. A new bike! He was thrilled!! It took some talking into, to have him sit on it for a picture.
To end the evening, we took the kids to the splash pad.
A few days later, on a Saturday, we had a little party. Robby took Jaden, Brigham, my nephew Houston, and Jaden's friend to the Kangaroo zoo. Then we had family over for dinner. We BBQ'd hot dogs.
Jaden really wanted a race car cake. We didn't want to spend money on buying, so Robby and I rigged up a cake that would do. He liked it.
I think he really enjoyed his birthday, even though he had too much attention for his liking.

SILLY JADEN, BIRTHDAYS ARE FOR KIDS! He'll like the attention one day. I'll glad he had a good birthday, looks like he had a lot of fun!
Wow. that's funny that he doesn't want to me sung to! Jared pretends that we aren't actually singing to him but he's never run out of the room :)
