Not too much happening

Nothing exciting happening here. The week days are the same ole same ole. Just cleaning the house, taking care of kids and doing school work. The kids are good, school is going well, but the house never seems to stay clean.
The weekends are always jammed pack full of things to do and things to get done. I wish I could spread the weekend fun through out the week.
2 Weekends ago, We took Abbey to the circus! That was lots of fun! It was her first time, and my 2nd. Abbey had fun, but didn't have a very long attention span. After like a minute of one act, she wanted them to go to the next. But she was dancing and singing through the whole thing.
I wish I had a picture. But I still don't have my camera. I haven't taken a picture in a month and a half.
Later that night we went to Oktoberfest! Well my friend Shannon put on her own Oktoberfest! When she Parties, she Parties!! Her family goes ALL out!! They had Polka music, dancing and cheers! They had the cutest German decor. Decked to the hills! They had food Galore! They had brats, and all kinds of German salads, pasta's breads and desserts. They even got every one a German hat to wear, and a beerstien. (sp) It was awesome! Again, I have no pictures. I am so bummed.
This past weekend was conference weekend. We unfortunately didn't get to hear much of it, because of the kids. It makes it real hard. But we went to my parents and stayed the weekend with them.
Robby and I have been painting Jaden's room, and trying to clear out and clean up the garage so that Robby can have private Muay Thai lessons in the garage. So if any one is interested in Muay Thai lessons, let us know!
But that is what's been happening here. Not too much.

Just some tid bits

Today I lost another pound! I lost 16, 49 more to go!

I told Robby that I had lost a pound. Abbey asked "what does that mean?" I said "It means my belly is getting smaller" She looked sad and said "No, I don't want your belly to get smaller! I want you to have another baby!"

We have a slug problem at my house. It's soooo sick! They come out at night and flood our back porch/house. Today Jaden and Abbey went out side and I guess there were some slugs out there. Usually the slugs are gone by morning, so Abbey never see' s them when they swarm our house. Abbey came running in side and said "Dad there are snakes out side!" Robby said "ok I will get them in a minute." Abbey said "Dad get me a paper towel so I can get these snakes out of here!"

Last week Robby and Abbey were driving in the car and talking. Abbey told Robby that she saw Jesus. Robby asked " oh really? What was Jesus doing?" Abbey said " He wasn't doing anything. Just standing there." Then she said " He has long hair, hair on his chin and he was holding a long stick." She said " I wasn't scared of him. He was nice."

Jaden turned 15 months yesterday. He had his well check up. He is 25 pounds and 9 oz. That is 60 percentile in weight. He is 30 1/2 inches tall, and that is 30% in height. His head is in the 75th percentile.

I just remembered Abbey's dinner menu wish list.
Last night she told me what she wanted for dinner. Here is her list, in her words:

fom-ich, chips, mar-mal-aid, and em-ee-ems.

Translation:

Sandwich, chips, lemonade, and M&M''s.

Today for lunch Abbey was eating a sandwich. She said "This fom-ich is strump-ish"

Translation: This sandwich is scrumptious

Jaden and Abbey updates

Nothing too exciting has happened since Abbey's birthday, so I don't have much to write about.
I don't even have pictures to post. I can't find my battery charger for my camera. I haven't taken one picture in 2 weeks! That is long for me. But I can up date you all on the kids.

Jaden:

Is almost 15 months

Still can't say much at all, but he can say Eat, and that is his favorite word. Or his only word. well he says Dada, every now and then. But Eat is very important to him.

He thinks he can talk. He jabbers on and on.

He knows where his belly, ears, head and feet are.

He under stands when you talk to him. He understands what things are and how they work. Now, if only he could say them.

He is a Mama's boy. He gets jealous if I pay too much attention to Abbey, or other kids/babies. He gets upset if Robby hugs me, he runs and gets in between us and holds my leg.

He is a picky eater and still prefers to eat baby food, over our food.

He is ALL boy! He loves to rough house. He loves to kick every thing! I mean every thing.

He is very active.

Well I guess he isn't all boy. He loves shoes, vacuums, mops and brooms.

He is a snuggle bug. Loves to snuggle. I love it!

He also loves to attack Tootsie and Sophie.


Abbey:

Is ALL girl! she loves every thing girly! I love it, I have always wanted a girly girl.

But she is afraid of every thing! She takes after me in that department. But I actually think she may be worse then I was.

She is a little mommy. She is so cute with Jaden, and loves to play with him. She always calls him "buddy"

She is a huge helper for me! She baby sits Jaden while I am in the shower. I have the monitor on and can hear them. She is a great baby sitter!

She still loves her gymnastics! She loves to dance, and sing! She can memorize so many songs!

She has been learning Nursery rhyms. She says "Porgy, Porgy ran away! porgy ,porgy went to play. porgy porgy kissed the girls and made them cry"
and "little mif muffet sat on her tuffet, eating her moes and may." and she knows Jack and Jill.

she is learning Spanish from Grisel. She knows, uno, dose, tres, Hola, como esta, bien, and chow.

Abbey is a very sassy 3 yr old! when she is in trouble or acting up, I will tell her I will spank her, or put her in time out, and she says "you don't know how!" or if we tell her to be nice she will say. " I won't be nice! I am MEAN!"

She is afraid of dryer lint and she calls it "clothes hair"

The other day we picked The kids up from being baby sat. We asked Abbey. "was Jaden good?" She said "Not quite. He was fussy."

She loves to watch birthing stories with me. She said " sometimes when ladies poop, a baby comes out of their bum" Then one time she was going to the bathroom. She looked at me all nervous and said " Will a baby come out of my bum?"

she wants us to have a baby so bad. She says she wants a sister, But that she wants to have Jaden too.

She is learning what each letter looks like and how to write them. She can write A's and B's.

When I am tired Abbey will tell me "Go lay on couch and rest, and I will baby sit Jaden"

One morning I was grouchy and yelling at her. she said "mom, I am not proud of you today"

I Just love my kids! They are the best!
